She was originally kept as our show hopeful for 2026, and we had high hopes for her future in the ring. As she matured, it became clear that she would simply stay too small for showing. Ella has topped out at only 6.2 lb / 2.8 kg, making her the smallest Italian Greyhound we have ever had. She is full grown and still about the size of many 3-month-old puppies. Ella has had all puppy shots and is up-to-date for the year. Additionally, she is on Simparica Trio. She has been vet checked and has a new appointment this week for another basic over all health check. What Ella may lack in size, she more than makes up for in charm. She is friendly, playful, and loves her toys. She especially enjoys carrying them around and showing them off in hopes that you will play with her. She is affectionate, devoted, and very much a velcro companion who wants to be involved in every part of your day. Ella sleeps with us at night and uses pet stairs to get on and off the bed. She is accustomed to being close to her people and will expect that same closeness in her new home. She gets along with other dogs, but due to her tiny size, she must be placed only with gentle companions. Ella is truly one of a kind and comes very pre-spoiled. She is looking for a home that understands just how special a tiny little dog like her is and will adore her accordingly.
